Glow Fabric
Glorope is the proud supplier of Energlo Fabrics to North America!
Our waterproof breathable glow-in-the-dark coatings are applied to woven synthetic fabric types such as nylons and polyesters. Most fabrics are coated four or five times to ensure maximum waterproof levels of 25,000mm are achieved. On the surface of each item, we apply a Teflon HT durable water repellent finish (DWR) so water beads off the fabric when exposed to rain. This acts as the first layer of defense against the elements. These coated fabrics can be used for a wide range of safety or active sportswear applications as well as recreation sports.
Because the coating is solid with micro chambers, it can be used in marine environments as well without the risk of salt damaging the breathability function. The fabrics can be printed on and the with a custom design or can be dyed to any light color(email for details). The glow properties will last the life span of the product which is about ten years with moderate to heavy use. The bright glow will last for at least 3 hours. We also have a Blue Glow Poly available in the 75 denier weight.
We sell our fabrics by the linear meter. So if you were to purchase one linear meter you would receive a single piece that would be 57 inches wide (1.5 meters wide) by 39 inches in linear length (1 linear meter) or however many consecutive meters you order.
